Nutritional Alkalinity

Our bodies seek to find balance. The way we can encourage our bodies to operate the most optimally is by decreasing the acidic load.

We have explored that the most common culprits of nutritional acidity come in the forms of food and beverages that are quick, processed and readily available. These foods create long term havoc within our bodies, especially upon our pH balance.

Increasing nutritional alkalinity is important in countering the effects of a high acidic load. Daily, choosing foods and beverages which decrease the amount of acidity in the body help to also reduce the inflammation. Alkalinity promotes a greater state of balance by changing the pH and decreasing circulating inflammation. Basically, when we increase how many alkaline foods we are eat we deliver more oxygen to our bodies, change our gut health, and give ourselves more energy.
